TURN EAST TOWARDS THE DESERT SOUTHWEST LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY
TUESDAY. THIS SYSTEM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BRING HEAVY SNOW TO THE
MOUNTAINS OF SOUTHEAST ARIZONA ABOVE 7000 FEET.

SOME TROPICAL MOISTURE HAS PRECEDED THIS STORM AND HAS BROUGHT SOME
LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOWFALL TO THE AREA OVERNIGHT ABOVE 8000 FEET.

Strange, they fail to mention the Huachucas in the HSW even though our high peaks are just as high as the Chiricahuas and Santa Ritas-probbaly because the only traffic across them consists of illegals and drug smugglers and we really don't care if they get caught in a high mountain blizzard anyway. BTW, been raining down here off and on since yesterday morning.

Chilly and windy rain here in Phoenix right now. Figured that for the time being at least, the snow levels have not yet begun to rise. The influx of warmer air above the surface, though, will probably take the snow level another 1-2,000 feet up.

By the way Dennis, with our without your shorts, what is your elevation in Pinetop?

Here at the house, according to my GPS, I'm at 7102', the *offical* elevation, taken at Lakeside Fire Dept is 6825'.

NOW....so far, it's a SNOW BUST, just COPIOUS amounts of RAIN, .98" thus far, NOAA FLAG has 24-36" *rolls eyes*........they've cried wolf (snow) so much lately, I'll BELIEVE it WHEN and IF I see it! 8-)

Flooding has ONCE again become a HUGE ISSUE.....went to Pinetop FD for sand bags, YES....we have a TON of "BAGS" up here, mostly inbreed, all related "LOL!"
