YG - see there, you must not leave the house anymore!!! LOL

I know the feeling. Thought I'd have much more time today to pop in here! Hasn't quite worked out that way.....

And we have all new TV shows tonight. Looking forward to that. Not that S2K could EVER compete with Prime-time TV viewing.....he he.

I missed Oprah too!!! Dang it. If I remember correctly, the cast was on a few months ago. Was this a rerun? I hope so. I caught part of it first time it aired, each actress was brought on, one by one. Something like that. Confirm YG!! Thanx. DH is such a major hit! Whodda thunk it?

Desperate Housewives is being shown on TV for the first time in a few days. Is it worth watching? Judging from your comments, it is.

They also have this real life lady like Bre, who has to be ther "perfect" one... I dont know if its a re run or not... Hope that helps!

Oh, it is, it is!

It's like a comedy and a drama and a thriller and a soap opera all rolled into one. You could almost classify it on the same scale as "Twin Peaks" but with a bit of "Sex & The City" thrown in (not as racy though!).

(Ya know, when YOU guys read this, it's at your own pace. But as I typed it -- and the above post about Oprah -- I'm typing it faster than usual and thinking it faster than usual. This "no-more-artificial-sweeteners-or-soft-drinks" for my New Year's resolution is gonna be nuts if I keep having this sugar buzz going from using the real stuff!! )

Easy now, Duck. Pace yourself with the sugar, lol. Mind you I can't talk. I made a resolution that I would cut down on sugar this year. Three days in and - well...

DH reminds me a Northern Exposure episode. But others compare it to Twin Peaks. It doesn't remind me at all like Dallas or Knots Landing (I was a diehard nut about both those shows). In other words, DH doesn't fit the nighttime soap genre, although my husband has declared it is. But he watches it, so figure that one out. Have I clouded the issue? LOL

DH just moves very fast, involves mystery, intrique and for the men, hot women (what my husband says). And has continuing stories. That's why some say it's nothing more than a soap. I just beg to differ on that one!

My favorite character is Lynnette - the harried, mom of 4, including a set of twins in there, all under the age of 5 I think. Her husband wants more kids! She was once a corporate exec but he talked her into quitting her job. While I love being a stay at home mom, this character is having a very hard time with the job. For some odd reason, I just feel for her!

Teri Hatcher's character, Susan, seems to be the most popular one though.

Mary

PS - boy we've hijacked this thread haven't we? LOL

Bill, I need to apologize for not placing your name with the notorious foursome. You definitely are a diehard conservative. (Since you have guns, knives and a guard dog, I want to stay on your good side)lol

I love DH too!!
Sunny, Did anyone nominate you for Nicest new member of 2004??? Ok, then I will.
