A very expolsive situation here from GFS 12z,we have a rapidly deepening LP system moving over Northen Scotland, this will give some very high winds, gusts may get upto 90,maybe even a 100 in isolated spots...

countrywide we should see at least gusts of 50,probably higher,so hold onto your. hats us folks in the U.K,it could be a windy Saturday!!

In South Florida the weather pattern has been very different in the last weeks than what you are experiencing. A huge area of High Pressure has established to the east of the Florida Peninsula and is not allowing cold fronts to come through the area, subsequently the wind is coming from the sea which means temperatures in the lower 80s as highs, and in the lower 70s or upper 60s as lows. Days ago the high was stronger and brough winds around 25 mph sustained, and gusts around 35 mph. We need some cooler air in South Florida to experience something of the winter, because today it looks more like summer.

Eep. North East England has the biggest chance of getting the worst. Doesn't look too good for me. Already seen a few trees blown down from large gusts last night, and it's going to be 20-30mph windier tonight. I won't get any sleep tonight as the wind howls through a gap in one of my windows when it blows from the west making a seriously loud noise. :(

Be careful!!

Residence in Grand Prarie, TX had that situation before while under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning. The 90 MPH took down a metal shop sending scrapes of metal around town.

It's calm now, but at around 6 o'clock this morning it was very rough outside. Part of the garden shed came off.
