Snow and ice totals. Post them!

#1 Postby Guest » Thu Jan 06, 2005 6:51 am

For here i have gotten 9.5 inches of snow. Some sleet did mix in for a short time.

This now brings my season snowfall to 36 inches which is about 20 inches away from my seasonal average which is 56.

NWS says 1-3 more inches but i have my doubts. Either way a pretty decent event. Still awaiting a 12+ event. :D

Light snow now with a temp of 21

This isn't snow or ice....but since this thing started late Tuesday, we have picked up 3.11 inches of rainfall. Many creeks and streams were out of their banks this morning as many counties are under flood warnings now.

****Update**** Think this is going to be my storm total: 3.19" of liquid. Radar is showing a drying trend setting in and the worst seems to be over. Many areas flooded now.

Lawrence had 3/4 inch of ice with 2 inches of sleet/snow combo. My total for the year is 11 inches of frozen precip. I am on track for average-would like for the possible arctice front to bring me a little snow but we will see.
