Same. This is Justin from the Almanac Forums.

35 F at 8:26 PM and light rain ... hopefully this turns to snow in the coming hours. I am thinking that the temperature should start dropping since we have no SE wind to speak of here.

North Bend temperature is RISING. Yes... rising.

Up to 36 degrees now... snow is melting... light rain falling.

Disappointing.

For some odd reason WXRISK cancelled the snowstorm for Seattle. Guess he didn't get the info that seattle is under a winter storm watch

Some good radar returns coming up through the Seattle metro area now.

Unfortunately all rain most likely.

Not good...

DISCUSSION...RAIN MOVING THROUGH THE SEATTLE AREA AND WITH TEMPS 35
TO 40...EXPECT IT TO STAY RAIN. ONLY PLACE WITH SNOW IS CONTINUOUS
FLURRIES AROUND KBLI. EXAMINATION OF CAMERAS SEEMS TO INDICATE NO
SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATION AFTER THE 1-2 INCHES TODAY. WINTER STORM
WARNING EXPIRES THERE TONIGHT.

AS FOR SNOW FRI NIGHT AND SAT...TEMPS NEAR 40 TONIGHT CERTAINLY DO
NOT BODE WELL FOR SNOW. HOWEVER THE EXPECTATION IS THAT COLD AIR
WILL LEAK SOUTH DURING THE DAY TOMORROW. THEN THE NEXT BAND OF PCPN
MOVING FROM THE SOUTH WILL DROP RAIN WHERE IT IS STILL WARM BUT SNOW
OVER THE COLD REGION. WHERE WILL THE COLD AIR BOUNDARY BE...HOW
ABOUT EVERETT. VARIOUS MOS PRODUCTS SHOW COLD AIR AND LOW DEWPOINTS
THAT FAR SOUTH...AND SOUTH OF THERE BOTH TEMPS AND DEWPOINTS ARE
HIGHER.

KBLI-KYWL GRADIENT IS PICKING UP STEAM...NOW -11 MB...AND SEEMS TO
BE ON TRACK TO REACH -20 MB FRI. THIS COULD DRIVE COLD AIR EVEN
FURTHER SOUTH. THERE IS ALL DAY FRI TO FIGURE THIS OUT. BURKE

Trust me guys... after this weekend our chance at winter weather is gone.

Check out the 00Z run of the GFS. No arctic outbreak at all next week (not even close) despite its prior runs insisting there would be.

Drier and MUCH warmer for the next few weeks. Almost springlike.

My warm welcome to all Pacific Northwest members. Although I live near Atlanta, Georgia, I'm extremely interested in the weather in your area, because my younger sister and her family live just outside Portland, Oregon...and she's hoping for low level snow there as well (especially since big brother told her the other night accumilating snow was likely in greater Portland this weekend :D
