Hello all I'm moving in here for those who remember Darkrious from OFA Forums, well I've moved here with a new screen Name. For those who are New to me, IL represents that I forecast weather for the midwest anywhere, and not just Illinois, but the whole midwest. I look forward to many great times on this new forum. Just one question: Can you post pictures from websites here, and if so how?

Type in [ img] then post the url then [ /img] So it looks like below

[ img]www.nasa.com/monkeyinspace.gif[ /img]

Take out the spaces between the i and the / there just there so you can see it.

LOL its been so long since I was that low in post i cant remember how the rankings go...But I know 10,000 posts you get to Category Five. Moderators, Mets and Admins have special symbols.

I ll see what I can dig up on rankings

Hi Guys WOW what is happening on the OFA weather boards? I used to post on there but left after some people made threats and got overly offended and used inappropriate words if someone disagreed with their post. I just dropped in to read the recent posts to see what was being said about the possible big artic outbreak for next week and was horrified to see such filth. What's the deal over there? Seemed like the admin. booted people for little things while this filthy individual has free run to post after post of porno. I'd be very upset since there are lots of young people who love learning about the weather on the net. I'd hate to have used that site in the classroom for science class at my school and to have those posts appear.
Anyways...Welcome, I hope this board will remain a safe place for decent people who are interested in the weather. So far this is the best place I have found for good and sometimes very accurate weather info.

Welcome to you and the others. I joined S2K during hurricane season and visit daily. I think you'll find it a family-friendly and weather "community" board with the mods booting any inappropriate posts. Heck, I'm not sure I can get away with saying "poop" on this board.

Be sure to try out all of the other boards on this site and the home page is exceptionally good fror weather enthusiasts.

Madscientist has arrived from the OFA boards.

The OFA boards have seem to shut down. I'm uncertain if this is temporary or permanent. It's a shame too. That was a nice board.
