I found out where that $$*$*$(( odor was coming from. Apparently it was being smelled all around the neighborhood. So it was either stagnant rainwater or *shudders* some sewage ... :( .

EEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWW! Josh. Mind you, I have a creek running around my house which adds such a wonderful rotting fragrance to the air! I have more "Glade Plug-ins" than electric outlets in my house

Let's just say my city has such a bad drainage problem that they need like 15-20 pumping stations to pump water out when we have rains. If it rains hard enough, the gutters flood. During the last bad El Nino, water made it up the front lawns of most houses. :o

Oh no thats awful!!! Is there nothing they can do to "get rid of it" to ease the drainage?

Well ... I dunno what part of the area it's coming from. I do know that they have been investing money into the sewage systems around here, as well as the water pipes and such. (They should fix the darned roads next... )

Well, Unfortunately, my cold is still around...and causing me to permanently stick a kleenex up my nose. Anyways...meds are sorta, kinda working, but not to my approval...I'm just waiting for the nyquil to start working (which should be shortly cuz the keyboard is getting hard to focus).

Bad time to get a cold too...I have a midterm tomorrow at 8am which I have been trying hard to study for. But, I'll try my hardest on this lovely essay midterm.

Is laughter the best medicine? Because I have been laughing at my roommates all night long...(the two that are still here are getting plastered...and one is already) so its a laugh a minute! :D They are fun to watch. I'm on Malibu and Nyquil...what a good combination! I'm probably just as bad as they are!

Anyways...it's 11pm...I'm going to study a little and then hit the sack.

Nite guys and gals.

Well I'm a day late and a dollar short on posting here - but here it goes anyway. Its hot and muggy here in good ole texas tonight. Got off work this evening and it was 85 degrees still at 5:30 p.m. - arrggh!!!!!!

Went to church - being Catholic - went to the Last Supper Mass - volunteered to participate in the feetwashing ceremony.

Back home and posting right now and its still WARM.

Well I'm off work tomorrow - don't know if I'll rest - but nevertheless I'm off.

Hope everyone has a great weekend and HAPPY EASTER.

Well, it's been an unusually good day for me...lots of "zingers" to post, had a good BM, even Annabelle (she be a ho') laid off "whoring" for people food today (she's SO cute...lays flat on her back, little paws up, begging for a "belly-rub", THEN lets you "have it"..."I'm HERE! You have FOOD! I LOVE you! GIMMESOME! Ar-OO-OO-OO-ah!"). Absolutely SHAMELESS, I tell you...

Other than that, tomorrow I'll be offline from noon until 3 pm (I'm Episcopalian, but have Catholic roots..."all the grandeur, half the guilt!"), as I still observe those hours in reflection of His sacrifice for all of us (yes, even those who cannot, will not, or have never believed in Him).

Off, then, to a well-earned rest from these Boards...no "watch-on-watch" tonight fer "Captain Midnight", Arrgghh!

Morning everyone. Happy Good Friday!

Cloudy and cool here this morning and believe it or not, we have class today. I heard we are one of the very few here in Missouri that do. What about in other states?

Have a great day,
Garrett :multi:

Have a safe holiday weekend

#492 Postby azskyman » Fri Apr 18, 2003 7:39 am

Whether Passover or Good Friday or Easter, hope you have a safe weekend.

Kathy and I are off to San Diego this afternoon. The flight of 48 minutes is painless, but it still takes about 4 hours because of all the checkins, checkouts, and transportation involved.

I'll check in from our son's place..and share the pleasant weather with us!

Be safe.

Good morning everyone. :) Hope today is payday at work - need the $$$. :D

The weather at the moment is partly cloudy and 56.8 degrees. Slight chance of showers today, especially this morning, according to the NWS.

Next weekend, I will not be around much because it is my birthday weekend. On the 26th; I will be partying! :D On the 27th, my birthday, I dunno what I'll be doing. I'll be sure to stop in here and thank the happy birthday wishers though. ;)

That's it this Friday morning. C U all L8R! Joshua

Oh heck no! It is for everyone, the only stitch is that we women run it, and if you men act up, we take matters into our own hands!

Well guys, haven't been around much, and it is gonna be like that for a while, I am having computer issues (long story), so I'll try to make it in here as often as I can! I miss y'all!

Off work today due to cloudy weather, maybe some thunderstorms tonight, let's hope! Have a good day everyone! And a HAPPY EASTER if I don't get a chance to come back before then!

LOL Isobar!   I shall be there soon. Women do kick butt ya know.

Today was indeed payday at work. :D Got paid $98.76. :D Much better than the $75.60 I had imagined I would get. ;)

The weather today was mostly sunny save for a few leftover cumulus clouds and temps in the mid 60s. Slight warmup tomorrow then a cool week is in store next week.

TGIF! TGIF! TGIF! TGIF! TGIF! (oh did I say TGIF! yet? :D  )
