IN ALASKA
Kodiak AK 50F
Barrow AK 31F
Valdez AK 54F ***warmest temp ever in January***

*** On Fri Jan 7th 2005, Valdez AK soared to 53F, breaking the daily record, but also becoming the warmest January day ever recorded at this site. It broke the record by a whopping 7 degrees.
That record lasted just 16 hours as Jan 8th temp. soared to 54F.
Other records in Alaska on Friday included Barrow AK 31F and in Kodiak AK 53F.

Everyone's in misery. The West is sick of the snow. Everyone else is sick of the warmth and lack of snow.

One more: at least I am sick of snow, and we have only under 20" for the season! Bring on spring! :)
