I guess that helps. Gfs threw away any chance of precipitation or snow. It threw both chances away with the 18z model model and it moderated the arctic air over the northeast. It doesn't look good. I am really upset.

Krysof, Wait until the pattern change, would is bound to happen mid January, and we should be better off seeing more snow threats....

Though I'm no met...pro, amateur or otherwise...I've already learned that the GFS is a forecast buster and heartbreaker when it comes to winter weather in my area! :D
