New Plants

#1 Postby Cookiely » Mon Jan 10, 2005 7:37 am

My mother wants to go to Home Depot and buy vegetable seedlings to plant. I think we should wait until the second week in Feb. What are the odds of us getting a freeze this year? I don't want to waste the money and energy to plant things and have them die in a couple of weeks. If any of you have any thoughts on the coming weather in central florida, I would appreciate your thoughts. It was so hot the last few days that my mama has the gardening bug and is itching to plant more plants.

Just plant them in those little plastic cells and bring them in if it gets cold. I doubt it'll get too cold for a prolonged period in tampa though.
