That's what makes it subliminal. You don't see it consciously, but your subconscious mind gets it (unless someone actually tells you what to look for).

It's not a matter of understanding it but simply seeing it. I didn't see it until she told me how to look for it and even then, it didn't come quickly. And now, it won't go away!!! lol
