Tsuanmi death toll climbs sharply

#1 Postby jkt21787 » Wed Jan 12, 2005 9:34 pm

Just happended to be flipping through the channels when I caught the tail end of a fox news alert. They are now reporting Indonesia's death toll ALONE at 210,000. This brings the total death toll to at least 270,000. I think we knew that it was coming, but still very hard to hear. They also said this is now in the top 5 for worst natural disaster in the last 300 years.

True, I haven't been able to find anything on the net about this, but Fox news ran another alert during 'On the Record' but didn't say much.

Maybe it was a false report.
