arctic air

#1 Postby Cat5survivor » Thu Jan 13, 2005 2:59 pm

It was 23 degrees at 0345 this morning in Minneapolis. At 0730 it was 10 degrees and now at 1358 it is 1 degree. For all of you that are hoping for some cool air I'm sure the upper mid-west would be VERY HAPPY to share! :D

My sister/best friend up in Lakeville (formerly Eagan and Inver Grove Heights) says the highs will be below zero this weekend. That's more than cold -- that's seriously dangerous. Please stay as warm and as safe as possible! :jacket: :jacket:

No, that is okay. You can keep it. Us cajuns down here would not know what to do with 1 degree temp. We whine like babies when the temp goes below 50.

Or good boiled crawfish weather. I can't wait to have a crawfish boil. Those prices need to go down though. They are sky high!

It is -6 here with a NW wind gusting to 40 mph at times, blowing snow is a problem in the fields. The wind chill has been around -35 below to -39 below zero for the past couple hours :D :D And I'm loving every minute of this artic air. High tomorrow should be 36 degrees below 32 degrees :P And it gets even more harsh on saturday

That's just a wee bit too cold for my thin Irish blood! Glad you're enjoying it, though! ;)
