Did you know others who were also born on January 14th include news commentator/journalist Andy Rooney, actress Faye Dunaway, actor Jason Bateman, etc., to name a few?
This year I'll be "24 in reverse"! 
You lucky lady...you're still in your twenties!
I'll be celebrating tomorrow evening at a Golden Corral Restaurant in Rocky Mount, NC with my sister Retha, brother-in-law Mike, niece Janae and nephew Jared!

In my twenties....don't I wish Eric! lol Nope, I make the mid thirty mark this year...sigh...when did I get this old? lol Your birthday plans sound lovely. Enjoy your time together! We are celebrating tonight with a couple from church, and then tomorrow Brian assures me of surprises, we'll see?

How about a devil's food chocolate cake with double fudge chocolate frosting...and...some Goodberry's vanilla ice cream from right here in Raleigh?!

*Sorry for the delay...here's an update on my birthday weekend!*
Went to Golden Corral in Rocky Mount, NC last night for dinner with my folks and my sister Retha, brother-in-law Mike, niece Janae and nephew Jared met us there (they live in Roanoke Rapids, NC where the folks and I used to reside!) ...we had smorgasboard dinner and then 3 waitresses came and serenaded me...I had a cupcake from the dessert bar...and then opened some cards and gifts...received $20 and a book about Raleigh native and singer Clay Aiken from my folks...and some homemade (computer-made) weather-related return address labels and a pictoral history book about Roanoke Rapids (1897-1997)!!! We all had a very enjoyable evening and my niece and nephew came back with my folks and I to spend the weekend here at the townhouse, too!!
Yesterday we ate lunch at Ci Ci's Pizza and then went to a PetSmart and looked at the dogs who are up for adoption...many very nice looking furry companions there and even a Beagle named Bea or Bee (sp?) as my niece and nephew have two Beagles Princess and Oreo!! Folks and I aren't in the market for a dog but we enjoy taking our niece and nephew each time on a Saturday that they're here for a visit!! We also went and looked over the fish...some strange looking varieties of goldfish I must say, too...that we saw...bulging eyes and some with bulging cheeks!! 
We got our pet Betta fishes, Rocky and Stitch, some more dried worm snack, too.
Then today we went to church and then lunch at K&S Cafeteria!
Meet up with their parents this evening at Rocky Mount, NC.
It's been GREAT having them with me and the folks for my birthday weekend!!
