First off, St. Louis has shattered its previous record for most precipitation in January. We now have about 8 and 3 quarters inches of precip this month so far, and we are not even halfway through yet.
Those in the Midwest are used to fast changing weather. The temperature here reached 69 degrees yesterday, one degree off the record for that date. This morning and early afternoon, however, another surprise snowstorm (the second within a week) hit St. Louis, dropping some very heavy snow in about 3 hours. St. Louis received about 3 inches, while some of the suburbs saw 6 inches from this storm. Talk about a wild week.

Hey, Me again. I agree 1-- percent with your statement. I'd say it was another good call of mine especially considering that I predicted a few days before the Pro Mets even know it was going to happen this way, especially with snowfall amounts. I got 3-4 inches at my house. I only reported 3 to the National Weather service since some of this snow did drift around. Icicles are everywhere around my house and yard. But the roads are at least treated.
