You got the MECS right, but SECS stands for Significant East Coast Storm. Probably not until the 20-23...
I am not sure about snow amounts, but if I had to guess:
SECS -- 6"+
MECS -- 12"+
The chances of it happening? I really don't know. I will have to follow the models closely as time goes by.
50-50 Low Development?

Possibly, its too early to tell though. It would affect the East coast north of NC if it did develop.

I’m going to ask you respectfully to please refrain from asking the same question over and over again in a cyclic way.
You are asking for details which we cannot work out at this time. Truth is that IT IS NOT a given that these events will occur even in spite of the mostly favorable pattern. To ask me how much for Philly before I’m even sure an event is going to occur is (putting it bluntly) ridiculous.
As time goes on you will get the answers to the questions you are asking.
Thanks.

When you say the east coast do you mean just like the shores or inland?yoda wrote:Jrodd321 wrote:Where would this storm take place? It would affect mainly inland... coast **MAY** see rain or a mix, but that depends on a lot of factors.

I guess I speak Yiddish or something. Is there a part of the above mentioned that you don’t understand?
