...including snowfall rates, snowfall amounts, winds, and any reports of intense thundersnow. But, first CAUTION:

The Accuweather.com forecast center was humming today with a lot of speculation about the storm that is due to hit this weekend. All the ingredients are present for a big snow and perhaps even a crippling snowfall for some areas. Caution must be exercised this far out. One must guard against being overwhelmed by the excitement of what may happen and just stick with the facts. The fact is that, over the years, for every 10 storms that had had the ear marks of becoming a whopper, only one has actually materialized. AccuWeather.com will have more reports on this potential major storm in the days that follow. If nothing else, it will become a big conversation piece.
