Unfortrunately I do not have the time or the physical capacity to work out at a gym any longer(due to a wreck). My metabolism and my eating habits are my problem, in that order. I eat very healthy compared to 99% of the population-no fried, lots of baked, skinless, veggies, low fat everything, etc. I believe my biggest problem is the amount I eat which I am consciously cutting down and I have started to lose weight. The key to the metabolism, besides working out is forcing yourself to eat small and often imo-like six times a day(which I haven't gotten to yet-ya know baby steps) and drink plenty of water to help flush the body. Working like I do the water becomes a problem as I am rushing to the loo every other minute if I drink as much as they recommend. It worked well for my wife when she did it before to lose weight.

No, no, no. I don't have the time now, but I did then. A women's meta is a little bit more complex, but it can be done. It takes very hard work and sacrifice. Anyhow, you can do it and if you need a crutch like trimspa, then go for it. I always need some type of crutch to get me going. There is nothing wrong with that...Good Luck!!

Yeah, well, I tried the "five to six meals a day thing". It didn't work for me. And I was following the EAS program.

Let me know how it works. I just started taking Estrin D and I love the energy it gives me, not the jitters like most.

You are right David. You have to know when to back away from the table. I do not eat meat so I get plenty of veggies. Although no one told me that avocados are fattening. lol. So, I had to stop buying them.

Sandi, what is Estrin-D?

Yeah, but they're healthy fat.

Actually avocados contain good fat. I thought the same things, but nope.

Estrin D is designed for pre and post menopausal women whose metabolism has slowed to hormone shifts. It is loaded with anti oxidents. It used to be available only online and quite expensive but now WalMart carries it and a bottle of 60 cost around 25.00. I will let you know if they work or not, but I may keep taking them anyway because of the excess energy!! :) :)

I looked up the chemical properties of trimspa and it basically contains, crap, crap and more crap. Most of the ingredients are mcg (micrograms only one step up from nanograms) amounts and would have little to no effect. Basically you're wasting your money. About the only effective ing is guarna and a trace amount of hoodia. The hoodia cactus is grown naturally in Africa I believe and has been used for years by hunters to suppress their appetite for days. Pfizer is currently trying to market it in a pill form. Guarna = caffeine which you can buy much much cheaper. The goal is to get your energy up and in turn burn calories. Go to GNC, buy a product called "Up your Gas" for 10 dollars and save 40. Its basically caffeine and will give you energy.
