AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION

.DISCUSSION...
JUST TOOK A FEW VOLTS AS I BRUSHED THE METAL HINGED DOORS THIS EVENING. ANOTHER PLEASANT HAIR NIGHT TOO. VERY DRY CONDITIONS CONTINUE ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA. PLEASE GROUND YOURSELF BEFORE ENGAGING ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT.

CENTER OF SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE HAS SHIFTED EAST OF THE AREA THIS EVENING IN RESPONSE TO A COLD FRONT ENTERING THE NORTHERN PLAINS. SEVERAL ALBERTA CLIPPER TYPE SYSTEMS WILL MOVE DOWN FROM THE NORTHWEST THIS WEEK...THIS ONE WILL BE DRY IN ALABAMA. ONLY SIGNIFICANCE WILL BE AN INCREASE IN CLOUDS TOMORROW.

A TEMPERATURE FORECAST TONIGHT. WEAK SOUTHERLY FLOW INDICATED ON MODELS LATER TONIGHT. DO NOT THINK THIS WILL INHIBIT US FROM ACHIEVING 20 TO 25 DEGREES ALL LOCATIONS. MADE SOME ADJUSTMENT AND TRIED TO ACCOUNT FOR SOME VARIABILITY BETWEEN LOCATIONS. MOST AREAS WITHIN A FEW DEGREES OF LAST NIGHT...BUT DEW POINTS HAVE INCREASED A BIT BUT ARE STILL QUITE LOW. GENERALLY TOOK A MIX OF GUIDANCE AND PERSISTENCE. ALL IN ALL...MINOR ADJUSTMENT OVERALL.

So true. Yesterday my hair dried straighter than straight and light as a feather...for the first time in months it seemed. I was like, man it must be REALLY dry out there. Today was no different.

That is funny. He must have really given himself a jolt. It used to happen to me all the time with the front door knob from dragging my feet across the carpet. A friend gave us something that is for arthritis patients to turn the knob easier. A soft rubbery gizmo that fits over the knob. No more pain in the wrist and even better no more static shock.

George, I'm sorry about the condition of your head. Be sure to put on a warm hat when you go outside! :D
