Woman Sued For Urinating In Office Coffee
Defendant Was Reportedly Upset About Missed Promotion

POSTED: 10:38 a.m. EDT April 18, 2003

WHITESTOWN, N.Y. -- Peeing in a coffee pot could cost millions.

Eight people are suing for $600,000 each, in the case of a PO'd office worker who peed in the pot.

Holly Jones has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of creating a criminal nuisance. State police say a hidden camera caught Jones urinating in the coffee at Robinson Aviation in upstate New York.

Now, her co-workers are suing Jones and their employer. The suit charges the coffee-drinkers were made sick by the contaminated java.

The court action also claims the company should have done more to protect its employees.

According to police, Jones was angry about being passed over for a promotion.

The real motto - "The best part of waking up is Folgers in your cup!" reminds me of the sponsor for The Weather Channel's, "Your Morning Forecast" or whatever the segment was called back in the 1980s. :)

Derek, I am not a coffee drinker. The smell of it doesn't entice me. How about a Mountain Dew in the morning, not something I have done too often. More caffiene in it, than coffee. :D

i think that's what the "pissed" off lady was suggesting for her coworkers, the flat and warm kind of "dew"...

maybe if she would of pulled a 7 "up yours" instead, she'd still have a job!

ummmmm...ummmm...good to the last drop!

Some people just like a little extra kick in their coffee.

What I'd like to know is...what prompted security to look over the tapes?? I mean did somebody go to them and say..."hey...this coffee tastes like piss!"

I don't know about ya'll...but I haven't a clue what piss tastes like...I would just assume it was bad, bad coffee.
