That reminds me of a true story.
At our daughters High School, it's an annual tradition for just graduated students to drive by campus the last full day of classes, to show off in front of the remaining grades and staff. It is an endless parade of cars, jeeps, SUV's, truckcabs filled with kids.
Innocently I got caught up in this parade 2 years ago. I was stuck behind a honking, zigzagging truck. The bed was filled with water, all sloshing over the sides. 8 guys in back, all in swim trunks. Only thing missing was a 12 pack..... By the time I could get out of that mess, I had to stop at a nearby grocery store. Pulled over to the side of the road was this truck, broken down, the driver was on his cell saying - But dad, I'm sorry, but we all decided this would be fun!
I came home that day and told my kids they weren't ruining any car we owned for a Senior Parade. I know, I'm no fun..
