This map btw was done this morning at around 5am. I'll do a full update later this evening with a discussion and perhaps a updated more detailed map.

My thoughts exactly! I'm hoping IAD/Western Fairfax Co. takes it on the chin. If it's cold, it might as well snow...or at least that's my winter motto.

Now that's what I'm talking about! I actually saw your post in the "Mike Vick" thread from yesterday. Nice to see a fellow Hokie onboard.

So is NOVA going to take a direct hit this weekend?

All I know is something is going to fall from the sky this weekend. How long and how much? I'll leave that up to the experts. But I do have a feeling it will be all snow for us.

Good map King but we need to remember that the players in this event are still coming together. I'd like to know why you believe the DCA region is going to get 12 inches plus?
The coastal is likely to track NE AWAY from the coast.
Thusly I stand by my prediction for 2 to 5 inches (more like 2 to 3 inches) in my own backyard, with possibly more to the north and east. DCA could see 3 to 6 IMO, but there will be mixing in VA the farther east and south one travels.

If I bust so be it, flame me if you must.

That is NOT with the clipper that will affect them Saturday either. It's a different one.

BTW...Brent...the storm "right now" is supposed to drop 4-6 inches on the SW Ohio/Northern Kentucky area. Some areas have already reached 4 inches...and more coming.

Saturday is a whole 'nother kettle of fish.

Yeah I know... that was my point. It wasn't to downplay tonight's event at all.
