btw- hi everyone
Wxid here, just had to rejoin as i have just moved back to MD , was in lovely NewOrleans for most of 2004. NO snow there! Of course SBY is as bad as Richmond-Norf, but we get a flake here and there. A big Hiya out to KING and JIM S and to S2K, my favorite Winter Board... the folks here are SWELL
....not too mean and not too nice, just right!

Hey bud. Nice to hear from you. It looks like all snow for Baltimore and Washington including at Johns Hopkins with a 8-12 inch snowfall expected Saturday midday through Sunday morning. Blowing snow is likely Saturday night into Sunday as north winds of 20-40 mph develop.
I think the mixed precip/icy precipitation stays south of a line from Washington to Annapolis to Dover. That's likely how far north the snow/ice line ever gets. Thus Baltimore and Washington remains in all snow throughout this event, heavy at times.
