actually Daddy-Longlegs are very dangerous. There venom is really toxic but they cannot pierce our skin due to the shape of their fangs and the lack of strength. Lady bugs actually try to bite us everytime they land on us. I hate roaches and spidersSkywatch_NC wrote:All snakes and some spiders (except of course Daddy-Longlegs). I also don't like crowds.

I work on the 43rd floor of a 52 floor building. I was a little skitish after 9/11 for a while. The only time I get irritated now is when someone decides to get the jollies and call in a bomb threat. Then I have to go on a 43 floor hike. I keep a pair of tennis at my desk now

I forgot to mention that I have fears with elevators as I was trapped in one for half an hour and alone and I was very nervous at that time but thankfully the fireman came and opened the door. Now I dont go up thru elevators but by the stairs making more excercise.

1) Spiders...especially venomous spiders such as black widows....hate em!!!
2) becoming unable to care for myself someday (due to illness or old age).
I also have a healthy fear/ phobia of heights....but flying has never been a problem. It's weird, I enjoy flying cross country on an airliner, but cringe at the thought of climbing a 12' ladder or walking on a house rooftop; also am skittish when riding ski lifts.

At least bomb threats get you some excercise!

The worst thing for me is staying in skyscraper hotels. I was on the 13th floor of a hotel in DC and the 18th floor of a hotel in NYC recently, and both times I found it very hard to sleep. Although my room was overlooking DCA during a night of severe T-storms and tornado warnings for the area, so it proved to be quite a light show and got my attention off of being so high.

Heights is a definite problem for me. Like Perry i love to fly, but put me in a tall building, even behind 2" of glass I and I have a hard time looking out.
I've killed enough mocassins up close and personal that most snakes don't bother me too much. Don't get me wrong I don't like snakes-I have a healthy respect for them.
Spido's don't scare me. They just die if they get within range!!

I can't even imagine slick willy back in the office!!! Good point Bill.
My fear/phobia... UWGB Library! I know it is weird, but I can not stand our campus library.... I go on the first floor (the concourse) and the second floor (the campus bookstore)... that's it. There is 8 floors of the campus library! I do not go on the other floors willingly! When we had study groups... they had to practically almost pull me into the elevators.
