Differences

#2 Postby jlauderdal » Sat Jan 22, 2005 6:57 am

Interesting how watches and warnings mean different things in different parts of the country. Interior Sofla under freeze watch tomorrow night and our lows would be balmy in Northern Minnesota. 3-5 inches in northern minnesota would be nothin more thn a winter weather advisory. Boston is the place to be though for this one!!

I don't think that 3-5 inches would even warrant a winter weather advisory here. We have one currently for 5-9 inches, and usually get WSW's or LESWs when more than a foot is forecast.

Enjoy the snow Brent!
