Wow! Great pics, wxbuddies! And, donsutherland, I
feel like I could walk right up that road to the Lighthouse -
with my winter coat on, of course!

Thanks to everyone for sharing your snowy pics!

You and me both, breeze! I love the pic with the lighthouse. I want to be there. It's gorgeous.

I guess if the snow isn't going to come to me and I'm not going to move north just for snow (lol), then I should seriously consider a winter trip up north so that I can at least enjoy some snow.

Sixty? That's chilly. We had snow last week and now we're flirting with 80 degrees. Is it any wonder people are sick?

first 2 are from ice fishing...

last one is after a 5 inch snowstorm...you can't tell, but under that snow is a solid layer of very slippery ice...

With this MAJOR storm coming up, I'll be able to use my new digital camera and send some.

Michael - great pictures! Your dog is SOOO handsome!

don - I love that picture of the lighthouse at Montauk Point. I've never been there, but I've been to Orient Point. It's amazing how different New York is throughout the state!

Not really. I had the opportunity to drive to Cape Hatteras after a rare snow here in Coastal NC, got to drive on the snow on the beach!!! The snow stuck just fine, except where the water touched it, then it dissolved, but that was due to the water, not salt. The most fun part for driving on snow on the beach was you could get going 30 mph or so, then smack on the brakes. The truck would then slide wildly for a bit on the snow, then break through to the sand and come to a sudden stop.

Some great snow photos here. 8-) I'd be happy just to get 2cm or so of snow this winter. (Even that might be asking a bit much )
