I saw this story on my local news about a 1/2 hour ago.. Such a shame.. My prayers go out to Megan's families.. Her biological family and her family at the Wal mart store in Tyler..

Seems like there's been a lot of bad headlines with Wal mart lately..

As I mentioned in the "Suspect Held..." topic, detectives came banging on my family's door looking for a person with a first name 'Michael' who stole a cell phone from a local Wal-Mart in May 2001. I was in school at that time, so I'm cleared.

That's what I've been asking: IS WAL-MART CURSED?

In Burleson, there was a robbery at a Walmart there, and at another Walmart in...Farmers Branch...I could be wrong, had a suspicios device.

Guys, Wal-Mart isn't cursed.....but these gutless carjackers and sex offenders know Wal-Mart stores hire lots of young women and teenage girls, most Wal-Marts are open 24 hr a day; not to mention are always crowded with plenty of potential victims to target....teen girls and women by themselves, senior citizens, etc.

I just wish to the lord Megan had asked someone to escort her to her truck....a security guard or co-worker. If she had, chances are 99.99% she'd be alive tonight :(

This story just tears my heart out. I'm so angry at the perpetrator I can't describe it. He doesn't deserve a trial....we have all the evidence, on the video and in the bullet that killer her....we don't need a trial :grr: :grr:

At my place of business (a grocery store), it is a policy that females be escorted to their vehicles or leave in groups after about 10pm or so, or earlier if it is not very crowded. If a clear view of them and their vehicle exists, we can just watch them from the entrance door.

It has been about a year since I worked evening shifts, but I was the first one to volunteer typically to keep a watch on one of the important parts of my job: co-workers. I have even considered keeping an eye on customers too when it gets late! :)

I watched this story unfold on Fox News and it makes me sick! Aggravated kidnapping? I'd like to stone that slimey scumbag to death. Why waste our money on a trial? He deserves nothing but to be treated like the crappy maggot that he is..

Megan was just leaving her job to go home and now her life is over and her family and friends will never see her again. Why? He could have just stolen her truck and not killed her.

What is wrong with scum like this? :darrow:

Yepper. I know it probably wouldn't, but it might send a message to folks that excel at destroying lives that 1.) It is a crime, duh 2.) You are going to get caught. 3.) If a rock knows you were guilty, you had better be prepared to die for the crime you commented.

My thoughts exactly.. Even a pebble on the ground knows he's guilty.. Megan was only 19.. she had an entire life ahead.. Now it's nada.. all because of some moron..
