***PICS of Snow-Clobbered Everett***
I'm not sure how deep the snow is, as it is impossible to measure due to the massive drifting. All of these pictures were taken this morning at around 9 am, while it was still snowing heavily. Temp at the time was 7 F, and winds were gusting to 40+ mph. Needless to say, it was a blast!

A 10 year old said that, wow! When children don't even want anything to do with a storm...wow!
Exactly what I thought too. When snow-starved 10 year olds don't want anything to do with that kind of snow, it's serious. Very serious.
We've lived in Atlanta all his life. He's especially snow starved at this point. The last decent snow (ie, snow that actually accumulated) he's seen was when he was just 7 years old...and it's becoming a very faded memory for him.
Even so, when he saw those pics, he was adamant he wouldn't go outside in Mass today. I told him "good, because I wouldn't have let you anyway".

Snow in Everett, MA
Hello All. I am BTornado's wife. We live in Everett, MA about 4 miles north of Boston. Today has been an interesting day here in NE. We are under a State of Emergency until midnight Monday.
Anyways....just wanted to say that, yes...it is as bad outside as it looks. It is windy, cold and snowy. However, when you live in NE you get used to the weather and know to dress appropriately. Hence, you do take your children outside, dressed in layers.
Hope you enjoy the pics.
