We bursted here in central Maryland near Baltimore. We're approaching 1/2 inch today. On January 19 we had 1.8". On January 22 we had 5.8" of snow and drifts on January 23rd were over a foot deep.

So we have 8.1" so far this winter season, almost halfway to our average figure and that all occurred in the last week.

We received a dusting to 1/2 inch at work in Alexandria today. Very pretty, big fat flakes that lowered visibility for a while. Pretty with 3-4 inches already on the ground. Wife did confirm light snow in Fredericksburg today.
