My friends like to pick on me about hurricanes. They've started early this year! This is what one sent me today!
Cindy's "Recommended" Pre-Hurricane Season Check List
1. Coupons, Battery coupons, Any can food for human consumption coupons, Bottle Water coupons
2. Up to date Hurricane Tracking Chart
3. 2005's " Hurricane Name" List
4. Check to see if my Barometer is working
5. Get Dr. Grey's forecast
6. Call Dr. Grey with my opinion
7. Call Kessler Air Force Base, see if C130's are fueled and ready!
8. Send Nash Roberts my E-mail address
9. Inspect Levee's (Don't trust the Corp of Engineers)
10. Call Dan Rather, see if he passed on his 20 foot stick after retirement

It's good to start early before the season starts because you dont have to rush at the last minute when things get rough.

The guy from the Red Cross almost fell out last year when he asked if anyone had the emergency kits prepared - and I raised my hand! He said in all his years, no one has ever said yes!!

Tracking charts
Hey- thought I would let you all know that the new Lowe's hurricane tracking charts are in the works. I produce them for Lowe's each year and have some awesome graphics for this year. In case you've never seen one of mine- they are the huge 20" by 28" sized tracking charts with excellent detail all along the coast. I majored in geography- so they have to be detailed! They will be ready in March and shipped to the stores in May. But- I can get some for storm2k fans as soon as they roll off the press...
