I don't drink coffee. Like another poster, I could probably count on one hand how many cups I have consumed in my life time.
When I was a child I remember my grandmother on my Dad's side made coffee on the stove with an old percolater, it staid on the fire till it was gone. You could actually stand a spoon up in the cup and it wouldn't fall down. We thought we were big stuff and had to drink coffee like the grownups so Mom would pour 1/8th cup coffee, half cup milk and a bunch of sugar and we would sip on it for a little while till it got cold then we would go play.....silly kids.
Anyway.......I AM A CONFESSED COKEAHOLIC!!!! I can not function without my COKE in the morning. After my Coke, I switch to Diet Dr. Pepper, but first thing it has to be the REAL THING!

Mary -- Another Diet Dr. Pepper junkie!! I used to love DDP when I was younger, somehow stopped drinking it (it may have been difficult to find where I was living at the time), but now that I'm in SE FL where it's in every grocery store , I'm back to my old vices!
Non-coffee or tea drinkers -- Has any of you tried Chai? It's basically tea and milk with spices: creamy, sweet, and spicy all rolled into one. Chai can be served hot or iced. There are some really bad-tasting brands on the market; but the absolute best is a powdered mix available at Borders Bookstores. The Borders brand is available in flavors, regular or decaf, and even low-carb. I sometimes add a spoonful of instant coffee, baking cocoa, powered creamer or liquid half-and-half, and/or a cinnamon stick. It's become like a comfort food to me, especially on chilly or lazy "I-don't-have-to-go-to-work-this-morning-yahoo!" days.
