Venting a little here...

#1 Postby Josephine96 » Wed Jan 26, 2005 2:09 pm

I need to vent..

As ya know.. I was injured back on December 12th because I was not exactly careful lol when riding my bike home..

Anyway.. I haven't had an ounce of pain since about 3-4 days before X-mas.. and the wait to go back to work is DRIVING ME CRAZY

I am praying really hard that the doctor does NOT end up rescheduling my appt. again.. so I can go back to work no later than Sunday I hope.. {Sat. I wanna go to the church for my friend and former teachers funeral.. bless his soul :cry: }

Anyway.. The fact that I can't wait to go back is driving me nuts.. I am nearly broke.. and I'm losing patience.. Plus the fact I've been out of work is beginning to get depressing..

It pains me everytime I go to visit there and they all welcome me back or ask me if I'm back and I haven't returned yet.. Plus I'm a little sad that my favorite CSM is demoting herself and moving into a department..:( She understands me so well even when I have an issue..

I just wish I could wake up and be told "Go to work.. you're fine..".. I think I am fine.. But I gotta wait till at least Friday to know for sure..

Thanks for listening.. I think I'm done now lol

Is Walmart saying you cant come back until the all-clear is given by a doctor?

Does your job require heavy lifting or long periods of standing? If you're not in pain and feel okay, I would say go back to work when you feel like it.

Yes they have told me not to come back till I'm cleared.. as a "courtesy associate" {cart pusher} I am always on my feet and always lifting heavy things during carryouts..

I want to say this as delicately as possible, but why are you so eager to get back to work?

Those morons I live with till I can get on my feet are driving me stir crazy.. and I need to REGAIN THE PIECE OF LIFE I HAD WHEN I STARTED THAT JOB IN OCTOBER! lol

Guess I'll just wait it out.. My job is also fun and since I know I'm good at it.. I enjoy it even more

I bet if you call the doctor's office and tell them that you are feeling fine and really need to return to work, they will give you a slip to return. If you explain the circumstances (financial) and tell them that you will see the doctor on you next day off or when they can schedule the next available appointment, I think they will be glad to accomodate you.

That might not be a bad idea Burgh.. I am financially strapped and I really really wanna go back..

I miss my friends and co workers there..

Maybe tomorrow will finally be the day.. I am scheduled for a 10am appointment..
