we have had a thick layer of fog where i live for atleast 3 days now.
is this a sign of cold air to come???

If it is, we should be knocking on the door of some Arctic air. We've been foggy a bunch of mornings the past few weeks and it has been very thick.

No, fog is not a sign of cold air to come and only means that the air isn't moving around very much (stagnate).

thanks for that i was hoping that it was!!! the PAC NW is getting any cold air right now infact its +8 C today and i was lookign for any sign that cold air might be returning!!!

I wish it was too because I live in Washington State and would love for it to get cold.
