Which movie will win best picture oscar award?

#1 Postby cycloneye » Thu Jan 27, 2005 5:52 pm

"The Aviator"
"Finding Neverland"
"Million Dollar Baby"
"Ray"
"Sideways"

It will go with Millon Dollar Baby.I question why the Passion of Christ was not nominated. As I said in another thread the academy members apparently dont like too much violence with so much blood as that movie showed.

And yet there's a lot of blood and gore galore in so many other Hollywood flicks over the years...academy members apparently didn't mind them too much.

it's got nothing to do with blood and gore. Remember "Gladiator"?

I saw Sideways and it is a very good movie that has the category of best picture but those people at the academy will decide which is the best.

My dad saw Sideways, and said it was an exellent movie. I just bought The Notebook, and I absolutely love that movie! Makes me cry at the end every time! I saw it in the movies when it came out, and I read the book... Such a great love story... I think it should have been nominated!!!!

I have to admit, I haven't seen any of the movies and I probably will not tune in to the awards. Yeah, I'm an old fuddy duddy! :D

I've seen "Ray" and "Million Dollar Baby" -- of the two, MDB was the best. But "Best Movie?" I don't think so. It was alright. Hilary Swank deserves best actress, that's for sure.

It was a very good movie, I will get it when it comes out on DVD.
