Amazing Honda Ad - gotta see it to believe it

#1 Postby southerngale » Fri Jan 28, 2005 4:59 pm

This is one of the most amazing ads I've ever seen, truly a thing of beauty. Fully two minutes long, it's a Honda commercial called "Cog," the most elaborate Rube Goldberg device you've ever seen set to film, all made entirely of car parts. It required 606 film takes to get right. It's so perfectly filmed, you can't imagine it, you've just got to see it.

That was truly amazing! My daughter was involved in a rube goldberg competition last year and I can tell you, it is very difficult to get them to work consistantly. I guess that is why they took 606 tries to get it right, and I am sure they weren't a bunch of middle school kids!! I will definitely show my daughter, I am sure she will love it!
