Strange runs on the EURO showing that indeed the storm that hit the Mid-Atlantic this past weekend will move backwards and get parked off the coast of NJ, dropping an 1" liquid equivelent on the NE... This is all very strange but in fact it has happened before, it is very rare though... The EURO is not the only model showing either the Canadian and the JMA are showing the same thing, the Canadian, which is known as a flat model, is showing .6" liquid to fall... Of course the GFS, UKMET and The NOGAPS give this theory no shot, the ETA (NAM) is in it's own world showing a strong storm going all the way up the east coast this weekend...
Fun times ahead folks...

Well our mets have actually mentioned this on the news tonight. Though they say its not moving. They also say they are not sure about how it is going to interact with the storm coming up from the gulf. It could ride right up the eastcoast or go out to sea. And of course it can either be rain or snow or a mix. Does anybody have any ideas as to what can happen? Any inputs would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
