Winter Weather for Texas Next Week?
Maybe Jeff, Aggiecutter, or the Capitan can fill us in on next week's weather. Some of this morning's NWS AFD's as well as Bastardi mention it could be cold and snowy next week in Texas and further south than it is today and tonight. Any insight on this? The second week of February have turned up some ugly winter weather down here.

Wet yes, I see that Sunday and Monday. Then some colder air, but I am not seeing anything that would sound bells and alarms right now. Maybe some moisture returning over the cold air by Tuesday. Models are kind of murky but the NWS seems to be all over it.

Here are the 3 GFSMR models 1000mb temp, 850mb temp, and The sea level pressure and precipitation forecast chart.
