Weak El Nino= Nada for S FL

#1 Postby boca » Fri Feb 04, 2005 8:36 am

We have had a very dry winter down here and even though it is our dry season its been still usually dry even for us.When cold fronts come down the pensinsula it usually spits out a few drops here and there ,but no steady rain. I starting to believe that El Nino's don't apply for S FL, central and north FL might by a different story because of the subtropical jet stream.

It has been a very dry winter for us too. They kept saying rain for at least 24 hours on and off for Wed and Thurs, and we got apx. 5 drops and I'm not joking. I've seen fog produce more water. It sure did cool down though, a lot colder than they predicted for today at least. The wind has made it seem much colder.
