Happy Mardi Gras Everyone! It is Fat Tuesday in cajunland! It is a cloudy, dreary, gray day here. But, hey, it is not going to stop the party!

I was in the City of New Orleans from Saturday till Fat Tuesday. Perfect weather for Saturday. Sunday perfect also. Monday it rained before the parades got underway but then the parades were just fine. Rain scared some people away but crowds 5-10 people deep were average. Fat Tuesday was a dreary and foggy day until the truck parades came and it began to rain some. Not very long through, maybe for only 5-10 minutes. The crowds got louder and were screaming for it to rain after that.
