New "LOST" thread
I couldn't find the old one.
What an episode tonights was. Answered some questions for me. How about ya'll? Also have more questions too. Did Walt conjure up the first polar bear and the one tonight from that comic book? Like he did the bird hitting the window when his mom and step dad were not paying him any attention? Why did his step dad say he was "different"?
Miss Mary there is a rerun next week or that is what it looked like.

Mary - thanks! I did tape it and hope to watch today. I'll definitely catch that rerun next week.
I enjoy disaster movies. Towering Inferno, all the Airport movies, even the P. Adventure. Back when diaster movies were very popular.
I think this is why I like this new show. It has that disaster movie feel but with a Survivor twist (another show I got into a while back).
Discuss away....I don't mind hearing about something I haven't watched yet. And it is good to know you're all just as confused as I am! Sounds as if the writers want all viewers confused and on the edge of their seats.

I love disaster movies myself and of course I am hooked on Survivor and now LOST.
I don't know about Walt and Locke, strange relationship. Locke saying that he has seen more than any 10 year old (was that his age, close anyway). But they focused on that comic book and the picture of that polar bear when it was burning in the fire and the next thing you know its after Walt after he walked away from the camp area. And it showed Walt looking at that bird in the book and then when his parents didn't do what he wanted them to the bird crashed into the window (which happens a lot anyway), but it was, I thought, the same kind of bird in the picture when it showed his "dad" looking back at the book after he looked at the dead bird with a very wierd look on his face, like maybe that wasn't the first time something freaky like that had happened.
Did the rest of ya'll think it looked like a rerun next week? Wonder why?
Oh well, guess we have to wait and watch.
Have ya'll started watching Medium on Monday nights? It looks pretty good and so does Medical Investigation....a little on the hokey side, but I think it has potential if they keep at it.

The pieces of the puzzle come together with each new episode, but then there are plenty of new unanswered questions too.
Obviously there is something unique about Walt...there was a point made about that. The connection with their real life situation and the comic book was no coincidence.
Next week's rerun is the episode where Said meets up with the French woman in the jungle, I think.
I'm enjoying the season of Lost, but I'm hoping at some point we have an episode that ties together a few more situations instead of opening more and more new questions. This is not a show that you can just walk in on and enjoy the drama. It is definitely a continuing thread.

I knew Locke was strange but was surprised to see what happened with Walt. Since the plane was 1000 (?) miles off course, something strange seemed to happen. Was it Walt? or Locke? or something to do with Claire and what her psychic said? So many questions...so few answers.
I think the step-dad was actually scared of Walt and that's why he wanted his father to take him. You gotta wonder how this series will last for several years though...surely we'll find out what's so strange about the island this year. And if so, what will the show be? I love it and don't want it to end but want to know what the heck is going on! lol
I missed the episode with the French woman but read all about it on the website so the scene didn't look familiar to me. You'd think they'd mention if it was a rerun though so is it possible that he runs into her again?

Really? Boone?
Locke looks so freaky sometimes and often acts it as well. But then he does always rise to the occasion of protecting everyone. And he and Boone hang out in the woods a lot too, but remember...Locke wouldn't let Boone tell the others about that door in the ground they found. Why not?
