WOW that was a pretty good thundersnow/hail shower!!! Most weather I have seen in a while now
Got almost dark as night during it also, exept when the lightning would light things up!!
Now its brighter, but windy. Current temp is 36.8 degrees, Dewpoint is 33.5 degrees.
Hail still covering the landscaping, but has melted off the pavement.
Looks like convergence zone is headed your way Anthony!!!
I'll have another update tonight sometime, be back then.
Hope everyone gets what just happened in my area, or even more!

37 F with a Dew Point of 32 F as of 4:50 PM
Just wondering about where the precip is showing up, not the usual PSCZ if you ask me. Of course, it is probbaly just firing up, but have a look for yourself:

http://www.summitatsnoqualmie.com/info/winter/cams.asp Looks like some pretty good snow coming down up at Snoqualmie. Hopefully they'll pick up a good couple of inches (or feet would also be nice).

R-Dub...Your pictures are proof that I was correct in mentioning the "S" word a few days ago! I know that TT will say it's nothing, but the fact is he said just two days ago that to even think of snow was ludicrous. I am on a roll now...the cold low temps and now this!
It sounds like that must have been a fun little storm! It is very hard to say who may see some of the white stuff tonight. As the flow becomes more NW even areas in south King County could see snow by early morning. To say the least this is a very cold airmass. The late afternoon temps are in the upper 30s with a brisk SW wind. For a SW wind to blow that cold that airmass has to be cold! The next two days look really nippy indeed. Not a hint of spring in any sense of the word.

A cold evening...currently 36F at 5:45pm. Unless an active PSCZ forms, expect NO lowland snow. And even if the zone forms, you can only expect a quick dusting and a quick melt. Tomorrow night should be the coldest night of the week...good radiational cooling and very little wind...lows from 25-30F. 500 mb heights start to rise Tuesday with the Rex block. I wouldn't be surprised if Wednesday, Thursday had high temperatures in the low-mid 50s. Next weekend is still up in the air.

My parents are in town...took the ferry over to Bainbridge and spent the day in Poulsbo.
They could not stop talking about how beautiful it was... both the town and the weather. Until mid-afternoon it was sunny with no wind... so it felt really nice. Trees blooming everywhere... grass is SOOOOOO green. They came from Minnesota where it is VERY brown right now.
They laughed almost to tears when I told them that I had to convince you guys it feels and LOOKS like spring here. I am referring to Snow_Wizzard and Brennan of course. The rest of you embrace both spring and winter.
They are staying over there in a timeshare until Friday.
The ride back to Seattle was fun because the sun was shining on the convergence zone. Just beautiful. A very spring-like sky compared to the stratiform gray of winter.
This weather is normal in Minnesota in April and early May... showers with sun and cool. That is spring to me. And this is it!!!
Get home... look at the ECMWF and no change... show me the arctic air. Its on the East Coast.
Here is Thursday morning...

Randy and all. No exciting weather here at all. Had partly cloudy skies through most of the day, though skies became mostly cloudy by late in the aftenoon into early evening. Only some light sprinkles managed to fall. Having some light sprinkels right as of 6:50pm. My Temp is 37 wtih DP 36 and humidity 96%. PSCZ is also pretty stationary in my area and points Eastward toward Central Cascades.
