WRAL(Raleigh) weather MET stated at 6 PM that he would jump into their station's water fountain if the area DID NOT have measurable snow or ice before the end of the month. In times past I've never known him to state such unless he was on to something. He has been in the fountain once in several years.

Things aren't looking good for any winter wx. in the Carolinas this weekend is a consensus i'm starting to get from people on various boards. But, what i'd like to know is how are things looking for next week based on latest model runs. Been a lot of talk about a potential storm, but how's it looking at this point, any snow chances seen?
