actually bellingham's high was 47... Check that 50 again because it's bogus... and if my digital camera hooked up good to the computer I would show you what my yard looks like... Looks like a dusting of snow... Still winter here. I don't care about where you are because I'm not there. HA

I did NOT ask you to care.

Just do not say anything about my posting of Eastside temperatures.

They are just as real as your Little Alaska.

It must upset you that we are all not in the deep freeze. You go outside in your backyard and then go on this site and its SO different it drives you nuts.

Well I am very happy that it is in the 50's to near 60 degrees around Seattle. And I happy that it is even 47 degrees in Bellingham. That web cam sure looks nice. No frost and green grass. Tomorrow will likely hit 50 degrees.

Don't leave your backyard or you might see signs of spring!!!!

Please, please just stop trying to prove that it is Spring to Brennan. And, you also seem not to believe some of the people on here about how cool they are compared to other locations (like how you started posting Covington's low temperature in almost all of your posts  ).

You have to understand that while it may be 50 F in downtown Bellingham, which is barely a few miles away from Puget Sound, while Brennan lives several miles away from Puget Sound, has some elevation, and lives on a lake. Those are all factors that can help keep his temperature down compared to other locations around him.

I hope you understand what I am trying to point out. You must always give people a chance, and don't try to prove them wrong at the first chance you get. They may be right on what they are saying, and you may be the one that ends up being wrong. How would you feel if all of us started doubting everything you say. I don't think you would like that very much.

Brennan and TT-SEA...quit the bickering...kind of annoying. And Brennan, I don't see how your afternoon high temperature was only 38F considering a majority of Western Washington was well above 50F. Maybe your thermometer is in the shade and thus is incorrect.

The extended continues the same old, same old...which is awesome!! If only it could be sunny in the lowlands with snow in the mountains. That would be the perfect forecast!

Anthony

Still a balmy 42F with clear, blue skies.

W-13... I was just posting REAL weather data and he comes on and attacks me.

I believe its 37 degrees in his backyard. Great.

It just makes him so mad that its 50+ degrees everywhere else!!

I made no comments towards him until he started ripping for saying it was in the upper 50's around here.

Keep it real.

Currently 34.2 degrees at 6:25PM here at my house.
The lake is dead calm now, so the winds have died off, and as soon as it did that, the temp started to plummet.

More pics (love my digital camera  )
This was taken at around 4:30PM today, still frosty grass in the shade, and my dogs getting a rare front yard playing time (they like jumping into the water, then shaking on me, and everything inside the house after they romp in the lake so they are usually banned from the front until spring/summer)

These two are just a couple of pics from todays awesome weather, another 30 degrees warmer, and I would be out doing a little wakeboarding!!
BTW current lake water temp is 41 degrees, definatily dry suit weather  (LK Goodwin)

Beautiful location R-Dub.

I have decided the frost is simply a function of the dewpoint. But still it is amazing that it persists. I could not explain that to anyone else in the country. Nobody would believe me.

I still saw frost in a pocket in the woods in Issaquah where the temperature almost hit 60 degrees!! As soon as the dewpoint goes above 32 degrees it will melt instantly.

Still I wonder if we had a temperature of 80 degrees and a dewpoint of 28 degrees... would it melt??

This is one of the strangest things I have ever seen. But it does not detract from the amazing spring-like weather this week. There were so many people out in just short-sleeved shirts and even shorts in Bellevue this afternoon. And it was pleasant even with the windows down and the breeze blowing.

I imagine February (and winter in general) as a dreary with cold rain. This weather is just incredible.

I agree with Anthony... let spring continue!!

And if it was 80 degrees there would still be certain people screaming that its winter!!

Because even if it hit 90 degrees at Sea-Tac... it would still be 35 degrees at someone's house!!

Love this site, i'm sure you guys know about it, but just in case here it is,
That biggest lake in the middle is LK Goodwin, and if you look straight over to the left from the lake you will see the fairways of the golf course I work at, then left of that is puget sound........................
Just punch in your area, and you can zoom in and find your house!!
Almost scary

LOL not me!! I would be out enjoying the lake!! 8-)

That is a wonderful thing though, same rule applies here in the summer, I can be down in Marysville with a temp of say 88 degrees, get back to the lake, and its upper 70's to 80 at the most with pleasantly warm north wind blowing 8-)

While it may true that we have had a few warm daytime highs this month, the fact remains that the monthly average at my place is only 40.3 with an average low of 30.9. That is WAY below normal for the Feb average low. I am mystified as to where the thermometer is in Covington that keeps showing such balmy temps. The high - low at my place today was 52 - 25. By the way...the 10th low of 25 or below this winter...we may end up with the most since 92 - 93. 850mb temps are a bit lower tomorrow, so it may be a notch cooler.

By the way...One of the store owners on my delivery route today was complaining about how cold it's been, so not everybody thinks it's balmy spring weather. In reality about 20 hours of each day have been cold. 4 hours of warmth ain't much!

As for Brennan...he lives in a highly shaded frost pocket type area, so it is very possible his highs could be much colder than most. I used to live in a valley north of Woodinville, and it was so cold there compared to just about everywehere else. In fact it would normally be one of the last places to get leaves on the trees in the spring. As you might guess, I loved it!

We are sleeping most of the time its cold. We wake up... the sun is shining... it feels awesome during the day... we go home... its gets cold again.

The time its warm is the time we are outside!! Thats all that matters.

Like what Anthony says, lets try to keep this place from just being a bickering fest, lets keep the debates going with out the sarcasam from a few different people. Everyone here is great, lets not loose anyone!! 8-)

Just my 2cents though
