Hey Anthony I don't know why TT said I would rip you apart but whatever. LOL... Have fun in Phoenix, won't be much warmer than western Washington...

Well R-Dub that looks really nice, the ice, the frost that looks like snow, it all looks pretty and wintry... Things look pretty much the same around here. The high temperature was 41 today after a morning low of 28. Still cold and frost and down to 39* at 3:34PM...

TT I thought you were ending that sarcastic crap!!! Why do you keep dragging this on it's really annoying and childish if you ask me. It seems like ALL you talk about is it getting warm... When we read your post you are never talking about how cold it got or how fast the temp is dropping or how pretty the cold crisp air is in the morning... you only talk about how warm it gets and how fast the temperatures are rising... I have nothing wrong with these nice afternoons. I actually like all this clear weather because it makes for a lot of lows below freezing and frosty mornings. I was outside most of the day at school today and even in Bellingham at my highschool it felt cold even though it was 48*... There was a light, but cold north wind of about 5-7MPH all day and it made it feel like it was in the 30's... It really didn't feel like spring even in Bellingham... I bet it felt really warm and nice in a lot of places...

I hope you get over your sarcasm freakiness soon... because I really don't see what you are getting at anymore... Yes, I as well as R-DUb live in a microclimate as you like to call it and it is still winter here. Looks, feels, and smells like a beautiful, sunny, but cool winter day today... Especially when I walked down and felt the water at the lake... 38* water certainly isn't even close to spring time temperatures for the lake... Last summer the lake got up to 74*... Pretty darn warm... by early may it was already up to almost 60... early may is about the middle of spring and the middle of spring is what you are calling this weather right now... if the water temp were almost 60* than yes I would think it was spring right now... It's way too nippy though even in town where it got up to 49* for the high... I talked to several people at my school and asked them about how the weather is affecting the way they dress... They said they are dressing for the cold weather in the mornings and not dressing warm for the warm afternoons... I guess that means it's more winter than spring... POWER TO THE PEOPLE... :grrr:

In the spring do we usually get 10 consecutive days of sunny weather?

Hey Randy..

Thoes are neat pics you took of the frost. And wow...I don't think I've seen frost build up like that...as shown in your pics. It does indeed look like a light dusting of snow. -- Andy

A nice sunny day here indeed, and even did some work in my garden. Our high today got up to 54 and we had a low of 27. Right now at 4:17pm I have a temp of 52 with DP of 23. -- Andy

Latest 18z GFS showing our dry and mostly sunny period lasting into the 26th of Feb, with maybe some showers creeping up from the south on the 27th. In the shorter term, high pressure continues to dominate the PNW with exception of maybe a sprinkle/flurrie or two for the far Northern Cascades on Sunday. -- Andy

Andy nothing is really changing in the weather for the next 7-10 days so I don't think you need to spend so much of your time on the forecast... It's really nice during active weather but right now you are going out of your way to post a forecast we already know... I hope you don't take this wrong like I am being an butthead or anything I by no means am putting down your forecast or anything... Just don't want you to do anything you don't need to do... LOVE YOUR POSTS... Keep them rolling... Hopefully we get some active weather that you can use your good forecasting on... :D

Currently a cold 36* at 4:30PM...

I hope Lebron plays in the Rookie Vs. Sophmore game tonight and the All-Star game on Sunday...Do any of you on here care much about sports?

Anyone remember the deformation zone?!

Although it rarely happens, when an area of low pressure is to our north and to our south, a deformation zone sometimes sets up in central Puget Sound. A deformation zone is similar to a PSCZ, although not as intense and ONLY brings light/moderate rain.

Just an idea...if an area of low pressure moves through Western Canada Saturday and there's an area of low pressure off the California coast, do you think something could happen?! I don't know...just an idea. I'm not sure all the ingredients that must come together to make such an event.

Ok good you weren't offended by the posts...

I have never posted a picture on the sight... It's just the program to transport my pictures from my digital camera onto the computer isn't working... Usually when i plug the camera into the computer a little program pops up and the pics automatically go onto the computer... Now when i plug it in it makes the same noise like a water dropping into a puddle but the program doesn't pop up... I have tried everything to get it to work but nothing is working... I just took some good pictures of the frost and you can tell how much frost has been adding up... I am going to go get them developed tomorrow at costco and put onto a floppy disc so i'll be able to show you all the pictures tomorrow night and then you'll all believe me that it really is still winter up here.

How do I post pictures on this websight like R-DUB does?

Oh yeah... 5:08PM and it's 34*F... Dropping fast... COOOLLLLD outside... I think it will hit 32* by 6 and that would mean only about 9 hours of above freezing temps here.

Yep, I am a big sports fan! :P

I like pretty much all sports, but I mainly watch auto racing, basketball, and baseball.

At the moment, I am watching the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series on Speed Channel. Busch Series is tommorow on Fox, and the big Nextel Cup Daytona 500 is Sunday, also on Fox. It's going to be an awesome weekend!

Brennan, also if you have ever heard of the Skagit Speedway (located in Alger, WA), I am going there a few times this summer to watch the racing up there. You should come and hang out or something. I think that would be pretty cool. 8-)

If you want to learn more about NorthWest Auto Racing, then I suggest you visit this forum:

As for basketball, I am on a recreational team right now. We have a game tonight in fact, against the best team in the league at this point in the season. Should be a fun one! :D

Sounds great Brennan. As for how to post images on these forums, all you have to do is Upload your picture somewhere on the internet (search Google for free image hosts or whatever, I like ImageShack the best), then once you upload the picture it will display a URL to like to the picture. After you have that, then just Post A Reply as usual on these forums, and where you want your picture, click the IMG tag at the top (i.e. where you can adjust how bold your text is, six and color of the font, etc.), and Copy and Paste the URL inside of the first IMG Tag. Then once you have done that, hit the IMG Tag again, and you will get a [/IMG] at the end of the URL (there should be a [IMG] tag at the start of the URL). And thats all there is to it. Pretty simple. :)

Currently 48 F as of 5:17 PM

Today, we had brilliant blue skies (as usual :P ), with a high temperature of 56 F. We got down to 23 F early this morning. Our current Humidity is 47 %, with a 28 F Dew Point. Also, clear skies at the moment (and it should stay clear until tommorow afternoon when some high clouds start rolling in). Should be good star gazing weather tonight. 8-)

And now for a report from where millions of people live.

It was well into the 50's all over the Seattle area today. Even 60's in a few spots.

The NWS office on the beautiful shores of Lake Washington set a record high today. That was a record HIGH.

All some people want to talk about is the cold.

In fact... checking averages... these high temperatures are normal for early April. Sure is nice when everyone is AWAKE!!

Come to North Bend... go to the Factory Outlet. The parking lot is a sea of pink blossoms. Walked around there today. Almost eveyone was dressed like it was June and not February. And rightfully so... it felt like June in the sun.

On this day with a record high.

TT, I would love to talk about warm record breaking temps if I had them, but I don't. Glad to see most people were basking in the record warmth though 8-)

We had the absolute weirdest night in Covington last night. It was still about 45 at 11:30pm and we still ended up plunging to a low of 25. We are on a roll for cold nights...unlike anything since 1993! It will sure be nice to see the highs fall back below normal this weekend.

I don't know about this being Phoenix weather...highs in the 40s - lows in the 20s....

In all seriousness...This month could end up having the lowest average minimum of any month so far this decade. For my personal records this could end up bing the first month to have a monthly average below 40 so far this decade (millenium even). :D

One thing is certain...we have entered a new regime this year...I cannot wait to see what the details of the new regime end up being. My guess is that we will see nastier weather return sometime within the next few months.

I agree Snow_Wiz... a regime change is coming.

But... we had highs in the mid-50's not the 40's. Phoenix can easily have highs in the 50's in the winter.

Also... it will likely be raining in Phoenix.

Anthony is correct. Our weather could be better than Phoenix next week.

We had a record high today in Seattle and temperatures more typical of April.

Spring in the day... winter at night. There. Now we can all agree!!
