Winter storm watch is now up for Baltimore City/County and Harford County, MD for 3-6" of snow likely later Sunday into Sunday night. These watches or advisories should carry up into the Mount Holly and State College CWA as well as the late afternoon wears on. This is in line what was expected. Look for the highest totals to be northwest of Baltimore with closer to 6" there and likely 2-4" in the city of Baltimore. Washington DC could see advisory amounts closer to 2" in this situation. However even in the 3-6 inch area, warning criteria appears minimal at this time at best.
It appears the rain/snow line will shift north and east Sunday night. So areas south and west of Baltimore will see a changeover sooner than areas north and east. This correlates well with respect to totals.
