RAF Benson: EGUB 191650Z 33010KT CAVOK 04/M07 Q1019

Looking pretty good next week.

An easterly wind should occur from Monday. This is the best direction for snow in S/SE of England.

A somewhat drier weekend for my area, but wee have had areas of light raindrizzle this weekend. Thankfully no snow this weekend. In fact, we have seen a couple of thunderstorms near my area. Over in Des Moines, IA, about 120 miles to the east, they had a couple of severe hailers (nickle size).

Temperatures should generally be lower 40s today, cooling off Monday. MOnday night into Tuesday, we may see 1 to 3 inches of snow, but I think the jury is still out on that.

Today is a very nice day with sundhine, blue skies and temps in the upper 70's. Was a great day for my daylily clubs speaker to show us his new introductions of some daylilies. Eddy Scott of Countryside Daylilies in High Springs,FL was our speaker and he has some great ones coming in the near future.

30 degrees and snowing on Cape Cod (MA)! Ground is all white again! We still had some snow cover in the woods and on shady sides of the street--and of course the huge piles of dirty snow from snowplows, etc.--but now everything is white.

Ah well, it will melt eventually...

Warm and muggy. We should reach the mid 70s today, but the fog is bad. They are convoying across the Causeway.
