The last spell of warm weather last week encouraged my azaleas to begin budding and one plant has started to show a few flowers. This would be the worse time for ice or snow to hit!
As an additional observation, I noticed yesterday that the juncos have returned to my bird feeder! I usually don't see so many of them unless the weather is turning colder.

What a quick change in the forecast!
This morning the local weather forecast is calling for more rain than anything frozen. Considering how strange the weather has been this winter, I would not be surprised if we get some ice accumulation. Still no major change in the forecast for this weekend, but I am going to hold out for late Thursday or even Friday for a final word on that.
So much for the azaleas!
