Snipit from NWS Discussion, looks like the threat of some cloud cover this weekend is gone......More sun for us!!!!!!!!
AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SEATTLE WA 810 AM PST WED FEB 23 2005
RECENT GFS RUNS HAVE REMAINED DRY FOR SATURDAY AS THE FRONT CURRENTLY APPROACHING 135W IS FORECAST TO MOVE OVER THE OFFSHORE WATERS AND DISSIPATE. LATEST DEVELOPMENTS THOUGH HAVE BEEN TO WEAKEN THE FRONT MORE QUICKLY AND EVEN FURTHER OFFSHORE...THEREBY REDUCING THE CLOUD COVER OVER THE AREA THIS WEEKEND...SO IT NOW LOOKS MOSTLY SUNNY. WILL MAKE THOSE CHANGES TO THE GRIDS THIS MORNING BUT WITH IT AFFECTING FRIDAY NIGHT ON.

Now up to 52.4 degrees as of 3:00PM!!!!!!
Dewpoint 31.4 degrees
Latest NWS discussion talks about clouds being once again a possibility this weekend
Funny how we are dissapointed when they are talking CLOUDS for the weekend, usually we would be quite happy for a single cloudy dry day in the winter

Check out North Bend.
Overall the air quality is not too bad around the Puget Sound area given the high pressure parked right over us. In North Bend it is almost pristene thanks to some light east winds. I can verify this by the crystal blue skies and lack of any haze here.

Yeah... North Bend is a pretty cool place to live.
We are away from the fog and inversions of the Puget Sound and close to the foothills. So we can get some really warm weather here at times in the winter (and more sunshine). We also get SLAMMED sometimes. And we are so close to the mountains.
Not to mention it is beautiful out here!!
