Its off to a relatively slow season, in recent memory, last year was slow to start on april 19th jim cantore quoted on saying its a dry season well yeah i live in illinois n bout 75 miles from utica and my parents both had to jump onto ambulances and give aide, i wish i couldve gone to give blood or w/e i needed to do but i had school but it looks like this year itll be the same way as last, all though in the previous couple of weeks the SVR has been picking up which is delightful for me
but i hope the human loss is at a record low this year

i like the small outbreaks, i mean if there was a tornado outbreak i would like to see a small one out in the middle of nowhere, here in illinois we get tornado outbreaks but up until last year they really havent been a nuisance to property.......our "tornado alley" is a triple point from la salle to peoria to bloomington every year more tornado occur in that little area than many places else........i cant explain it

Yea, I agee 100%. There is a nice graphic in the weather for dummies book (lol) that illustrates your point. I think it has to do with the average weather patterns. Basiclly around that point you are in tornado season from april till late august.
