once a month rain for FL

#1 Postby boca » Fri Mar 04, 2005 11:30 pm

Once a month rainfall for S Fl will not help the drought this last system was just lucky for us. There no more sytems in the future for us and i feel the fire season will rival 1998. I sure hope not.

I highly doubt we will have such a bad season. 98 was an extraordinarily hot and dry year, and this doesn't seem like it will be similar. I think our mini drought will come to an end soon.

Whelp...we're getting there. Most of Florida...despite all of the rain from the tropics during the 04 season...is at least at the beginning of drought conditions. Here is a link to the experimental objective short-term drought percentages...wow the NW is really dry...and the SW is relatively saturated.

We probably won't find out until the start...or lack of a start of the rainy season.

Nothing compared to the Pac NW. We are a rainforest compared to them.
